Lady Cardinals named Runner-Up

The Lady Cardinals fell to Wynot in a hard-fought State Championship game this past Saturday. The Lady Cardinals played with the highest of character and they definitely made St Mary's proud. To God be the Glory- Now and Forever! 


Lady Cardinals to Return to State Championship

The Lady Cards have qualified for the State Championship round once again! The girls will have a rematch with Wynot on Saturday at 4:30 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena! Cheer loud, and To God Be The Glory!!


Lady Cardinals Advance To Semi Finals!

The Lady Cardinals have done it again! After a big win over #8 Hyannis, the Lady Cardinals are advancing to the semi-finals at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Game time will be 3:45. Be sure to come out and support the Lady Cards! 


Lady Cards Advance to the State Tournament as the #2 Seed

The #2 Lady Cardinals Basketball Team will take on #7 Hyannis on Thursday, March 3rd, in the first round of the State Basketball Tournament. The game will be played at Lincoln North Star High School, with tip off at 8:45pm. You can access the state tournament bracket at:

SMH Speechsters Find Success as They Prepare for NVC

The 2016 Speech Season is well underway, and the team has been doing very well so far. Their first meet was February 6th in Stuart, where Jacob Pongratz placed 5th in Novice Humorous Prose, Kim Schneider placed 8th in Varsity Serious Prose, and the Varsity Duet of Kim Schneider and Casey Vandersnick placed 4th. On February 13th, the team travelled to Burwell, and Kim Schneider placed 6th in Serious Prose, and Casey Vandersnick and Kim Schneider placed 2nd in Duet Acting. Kim Schneider and Casey Vandersnick continued their success at the Battle Creek Invite on February 20th, where they were named Duet Champions. The Speech Team had their best overall showing at the Newman Grove Invite on February 24th, where they placed 4th as a team. There were also many individual medalists, including: Lawson Hofer, 6th in Extemp; Casey Vandersnick, 6th in Serious Prose; Marcus Schneider, 4th in Entertainment; Kim Schneider, 2nd in Serious Prose; Ellery Butterfield, Karissa Nichols, Jayde Rosenkrans, and Marcus Schneider, 6th in OID; Ellery Butterfield and Jayde Rosenkrans, 4th in Duet Acting; and Kim Schneider and Casey Vandersnick, 3rd in Duet Acting. 

They will compete in the NVC Speech Meet on Monday, February 29th, at West Holt. Good Luck, speechsters and coaches!
